Archived data

The longer you are a STA logger customer, the more data your account will accumulate. This can significantly impact on the performance of your hosted layer and web application, therefore, data older than 2 years old will be archived. We selected 2 years because on one hand, it is not too much data where your layer will become cluttered, but is also enough to perform temporal comparisons.

Archiving means the data will be removed from the hosted layer (and web app) and available as a download in file geodatabase (.gdb) format. You can open geodatabases in a variety of commercial and free GIS applications.

The link to your archived dataset(s) is available in the support tab at the top of your web application.
