Archived data

The longer you are a STA logger customer, the more data your account will accumulate. This can significantly impact on the performance of your hosted layer and web application. Older data is taken out of the web app, and archived. How much data is archived, or more specifically, how much data remains in the web application, depends on which subscription you are on.

Archiving means the data will be removed from the hosted layer (and web app) and available as a download in file geodatabase (.gdb) format. You can open geodatabases in a variety of commercial and free GIS applications.

The link to your archived dataset(s) is available in the support tab at the top of your web application.
